This journey is designed to show you Sikkim in its most complete form — from the high valleys of North Sikkim to sacred monastery regions and the historic Old Silk Route. It is a slow and well-paced circuit that lets the landscapes, culture, and silence unfold naturally. Travel where roads fade into snow, lakes mirror the sky, and ancient trade routes whisper forgotten stories. From the flower-filled valleys of Yumthang and the raw silence of Zero Point to the dramatic curves of Zuluk and the stillness of high-altitude villages, every turn feels unreal. This is not just a journey through Sikkim—it’s an immersion into landscapes so powerful and untouched; they stay with you long after you return.
After breakfast, the drive continues towards North Sikkim. Along the way, you pass through scenic river valleys and visit Seven Sisters Waterfalls and Amitabh Bachchan Waterfalls. At Chungthang, the rivers Lachung Chu and Lachen Chu meet before the road ascends further to the alpine village of Lachung. Dinner and overnight stay in Lachung.
An early start takes you to Yumthang Valley, known for its wide open landscapes, grazing yaks, and snow-covered surroundings. The journey continues to Zero Point, where the road ends near the Indo-China border. After spending time at these high-altitude locations, return to Lachung by evening. Dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, begin the drive back to Gangtok. The return journey offers changing views of rivers, forests, and mountain slopes. Reach Gangtok by evening and relax after the North Sikkim circuit. Dinner and overnight stay in Gangtok.
Today focuses on Sikkim’s monastery and border regions. You visit Tsomgo Lake, a high-altitude glacial lake, followed by Nathula Pass (subject to permits and weather), one of the historic gateways of the Silk Route. The journey then continues into the quieter Old Silk Route region, ending at the village of Lungthung. Dinner and overnight stay.
The day unfolds along the Old Silk Route through the open landscapes of Gnathang Valley. A stop at Thambi View Point offers views of the famous zig-zag mountain road below. The route passes through Zuluk, once an important trading village, before descending to Padamchen. Dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, the journey continues via Aritar. A visit to Aritar Lake provides a calm and scenic conclusion to the mountain circuit. From here, descend gradually back to Siliguri, marking the end of the tour.
